Analyzer - Sysmex KX 21
This machine analyzes blood and gives information about
Total Leuco Cytes (TLC) count, Haemoglobin, total Red
Blood Cell (RBC) count, Haematocrit, Platelets count,
etc.It gives 20 parameters including RBC distribition.
COBAS MIRA by ROCHE
The Roche Cobas Mira is a benchtop, random access analyzer.
This system allows for the selective analysis of chemistries
in either a routine or STAT mode. Testing sequence is
by patient rather than test (batch). The optional ISE
module for sodium, potassium and chloride determinations
expand the capabilities of the instrument.
The Roche Cobas Mira is ideal in the laboratory situation
where patient samples arrive throughout the day and
night. With random access instrumentation, these samples
may be placed on the analyzer and results will be available
within minutes. With random access, samples do not have
to be saved for a major run as with batch analyzers.
STAT samples may be placed on the instrument at any
time. Once the STAT has been completed, the Cobas Mira
automatically returns to processing the routine samples.
Communication with the Roche Cobas Mira is done via
the integrated control panel. Through the control panel
the operator selects tests, reviews results and programs
tests, profiles and system parameters. Other features
of the Roche Cobas Mira include; a throughput of 140
tests/hr, microprocessor controlled XYZ pipetting system,
104 test channels including 23 preprogrammed methods
and the capacity to hold 2100 patient results, capacity
for 72 cuvettes (six 12 cuvette segments), cuvette volume
of 150-600µL, and an analysis interval of 25 seconds.
The system also includes a security system for laboratory-defined
parameters. The instrument checks for the integrity
of the cuvette, the rack reader, temperature, the monitor
and printer.
IMX
Abbott IMX Chemistry Analyzer The Abbott IMX system
is a fully automated immunoassay analyzer designed to
run assays using Enzyme Immunoassay and Fluorescence
Polarization Immunoassay technologies. The IMX system
software provides you with the capability to run fully
automated assays and multiple assays as well. The IMX
Unidirectional Interface, which is available with all
versions of IMX System Software, interfaces the Abbott
IMX System to a laboratory computer or host computer.
As data is being printed on the IMX test results tape,
the interface sends the data from the IMX to the host
computer. The IMX system has six major subsystems which
are; a dispense station, a reaction chamber, sensors
and detectors, and operator control panel, software
modules and a built-in printer. These subsystems are
contained in the one-piece outer shell of your IMX called
the Enclosure Assembly. The IMX is capable of running
tests such as those for Endocrine function, Diabetes,
Fertility, HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Kidney disease, Hepatitis,
STD’s, Transplant, Heart disease, Rubella, Thyroid
and Congenital disease. The methodology is superior to
traditional Eliza.
Cytospin
Cytospin Shandon is used for malignant cells cytology. This
special centrifuge increases the positivity for malignant
cells.
Electrophoresis
Electrophoresis facilty is available for serm proteins
and Haemoglobin.
Densitometer
This instrument is used to read and quantitate the serum
proteins and haemoglobin.
Flame Photometer
Flame photometer is by Corning 410C.This measures serum
Sodium and Potassium.Alos Lithium can be estimated.
Computers
There are computers with database facilties to retrieve
the patients records.
Microscopes
Olympus brand microscopes are used.
Microtome
Microtome shandon is used for histopathology sections.
Chemistry Analyzers
Microlab 300, Microlab 200, and Photometer 4010 are
used for biochemical tests.
Immulite 1000
Immulite 1000 is used to estimate harmone levels, tumor
markes and viral profile.
Microplate Reader with Washer
It is used for the estimation of harmones, viral hepattis
profile and various other serological diagnostic test
by ELIZA technic. This can also be used for tumor markers. |
